Bleeding hydraulic clutch and bearing

Syringe forced fluid down the reservoir line forced the air out in no time.  50 cent clutch bleeder.

Relocation of shifter

Shifter is further back in the nv3500.  Had to cut the floor to allow for clearance.  Trans went in fairly well.  Replaced the u joints in rear.  Were original had to heat up w torch and press them out.

Installing the 5 speed

Got it mounted up.  Need to attach clutch and put interior back in.  Oh and modify the the floor for shifter.   Fun stuff ahead.  Hard stuff done. 

Removed front interior and sm465

Cleaned up a bunch if Arizona dirt and dropped the 3 speed w granny gear in order to install the 5 speed trans.  Took most of Saturday but it was a beautiful day for it.

Cleaned up new trans

New Venture

New Venture 3500 to be exact.  Picked this one up at AAA recyclers on hwy 16.  $200 for unit.  $100 to the 2 brothers who removed it from a 1997 4x4 Chevy k1500.

Preping fender and tailgate

Been removing pinstripes and adhesive as well as smoothing out areas.  Getting closer to paint. 

Stereo secured and antenna hookup

Mounted the stereo better and reinstalled the trim.  Radio was not woeking, had to hook the windshield antenna back up.
